Job Description

New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is seeking a Project Manager to help our client successfully identify an interactive voice and messaging solution (devices and software). This role requires significant engagement and management of operational and clinical stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, including synthesis and consensus related to operational requirements through active facilitation of various clinical and operational stakeholder groups. The engagement will also include implementation planning (project charter) and (if determined to be required) leading a competitive process to select the solution.

Responsibilities:


  • Work closely with project managers leading other workstreams where coordination and integration is required to ensure a streamlined, coordinated and efficient approach to planning and implementation
  • Lead the design and implementation of process improvement activities (including documentation, and future-state design) alongside other workflow planning initiatives
  • Produce project training, education, and communication materials, including presentations
  • Lead clinical and operational stakeholders through a solution selection process, with support of procurement resources, to select a delivery and implementation partner or partners
  • Identify and document workflow changes and the impact of the new solution implementation
  • Use clinical and operational requirements to support and drive change
  • Liaise with Supply Chain to manage the end to end procurement cycle and act as key point of contact for vendors
  • Lead clinical engagement sessions to gather clinical and operational requirements based on future workflows and operational procedures (such as type/number of users, integration points, and call flows) to inform procurement and system selection
  • Drive engagement and excitement for Innovation portfolio projects with staff and other key stakeholder groups through engagement and communication activities
  • Support design meetings and liaise with the design build partner

Requirements:


  • Utilizes initiative, vision, independent thinking and creative problem-solving abilities to implement project plans and realize project objectives / deliverables / completion
  • Training and experience with best practice project management techniques and processes
  • Experience working in a healthcare environment
  • Utilizes effective facilitation, persuasion and negotiation abilities to achieve consensus, resolve conflict and achieve desired outcomes
  • Familiarity with change management and ability to identify needs related to change management and staff engagement
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
  • 5+ years of experience managing a range of IT infrastructure implementation services (voice/ data/ wireless network, workstations, printers) for Facilities projects
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills and ability to build trusting relationships
  • Works effectively under time pressures to meet deadlines, balance work priorities and resolve problems in a timely manner
  • Experience working in a fast paced, large / complex, outsourced IT service delivery environment, managing multiple concurrent projects of varying sizes
  • Ability to elicit requirements, priorities and use cases and translate them into a cohesive conceptual design
  • 6+ years of experience as a Project Manager
  • PMP or equivalent designation is preferred
