Project Manager - Full Time

Role – Senior Project Manager (M365)

Location – Toronto (hybrid onsite 2-3 days per week)

Start Date – mid-July

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Technical Project Manager for our client who is passionate about delivering large and complex projects!

A Day in the Life:

• Manage the project budget, team resources, communications, and project plans
• Lead the development of the project governance framework of communication strategy, risk mitigation, stakeholder management plan, and budget management plan
• Use your knowledge and experience in IT infrastructure security to recognize potential issues and solve problems, with a sense of urgency
• Identify and resolve risks and issues in a timely manner
• Act as the primary interface to client business units during all phases of the project
• Organize and lead meetings with clear objectives and communicate meeting summary minutes
• Lead cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements, manage major technology implementation projects.
• Escalate concerns to the project team and senior management when appropriate
• Provide direction and support to the implementation team and review deliverables prepared by the team
• Oversee and monitor all management reports on specified projects
• Manage all vendor relationships related specifically to the project and monitor statements of work to maintain accountability on the contract deliverables
• Manage effective relationships with internal stakeholders, partners and technology vendors.
• Monitor and report on project progress and problems

What You Bring:

• Proficiency in tools like MS Project, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
• Knowledge of change and problem management and ability to anticipate risks
• Agile project management experience
• Ability to quickly build relationships and trust with stakeholders, project teams and project leaders
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in leading teams that have designed and implemented modern complex systems (Infrastructure, Virtualization, M365)
• 10+ years of experience in a Project Manager role, focusing on complex mid to large-sized infrastructure projects
• Strong team-oriented mindset with the proven ability to lead on multiple complex IT projects simultaneously

What Makes You Extra Awesome:

• Operations background in IT Infrastructure
• PMP or Agile certification
• Previous experience in a consulting environment
• ITIL Certification
• Degree in Computer Science, Management or an IT related discipline
