Description
Allucent is a full-service contract research and development organization with international resources dedicated to helping pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies efficiently and expeditiously navigate the regulatory approval process in order to bring new drugs, biologics, and medical devices to the people who need them. Allucent is a non-laboratory environment.
The Program Coordinator II (PC) coordinates the development and implementation of project management services with the support of the program manager and other project team members. This position involves controlling and monitoring project activities from initiation through closure while adhering to standards with respect to the cost, time, scope, quality, and risk management aspects of the project.
The Program Coordinator II serves on project teams in the capacity of Program Coordinator
Responsibilities
  • Schedules and prepares for and attends all internal and external project team meetings by preparing agendas and documenting meeting discussions as needed.
  • Supports document preparation and reviews
  • Contribute to other areas of business as required
  • Follows Allucent policies and standard operating procedures
  • Assists in the preparation, compilation, quality control, and submission of documents required for a regulatory body or sponsor
  • Actively support to staff learning & development within the company
  • Performs work assignments based on detailed instructions for each task
  • Office environment with ability to lift up to 25 pounds, if required
  • Supports the collection, filing, tracking, and transferring of all project documentation
  • May serve as a mentor to other Program Coordinators
  • Contribute and take part in client evaluations, visits and bid defenses
  • Tracks project budgets, and provides support to the finance functional area with forecasting and the invoicing process
  • Assure good communication and relationships with (future) clients
  • Applies company policies and procedures to resolve routine issues
  • Facilitates team communication and liaises with sponsors and third party contractors
  • Manages meeting follow-up activities, including finalization and distribution of meeting minutes and the tracking of action items and decisions
  • Prepares status reports and project review reports
Requirements
  • 1 years’ experience
  • Contributes to projects with basic proactive thinking and conflict resolution skills
  • Exhibits basic planning and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks while demonstrating flexibility to reprioritize to meet changing timelines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Displays the ability to support internal and external meetings including scheduling, documenting, and participating
  • Outgoing and positive individual with novice level skills relating to daily task management, resource management, and contract management
  • Proficiency with various computer applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Demonstrates attention to detail
  • Located in Eastern Standard Time preferred
  • Bachelors or equivalent degree in a scientific area and/or relevant experience
  • Maintains beginner level knowledge of regulatory guidance documents, standard operating procedures, and internal guidance's
  • Demonstrates the ability to work in a team setting with the potential to work autonomously when required
  • Thinks ahead for potential opportunities and challenges
  • Displays beginner level ability to maintain effectiveness in a changing environment
