Your Main Responsibilities Would Be

An exciting new opportunity for a Production Supervisor has arisen with one of our local clients.We're looking for an energetic and passionate individual who would possess skills and experience relevant to the role.As a Production Supervisor, you would be responsible for areas of production and stores and leading the teams within them.

• Ensuring the safe production, storage, receipt, and dispatch of products within internal and external specifications and within critical control points
• Helping to drive continuous improvements through team meetings and one-to-one communication within the teams
• Delivering and improving area KPI’s and reporting to other departments
• Managing leave requests and the requirement of holiday cover and managing absence using HR policies
• Ensuring all personnel receive the correct training and ensure further training is organized for those that require it
• Ensuring that the production area is kept to a high standard and the teams are working in line with company standard operating procedures
• Managing team numbers to ensure correct levels of personnel

Desirable skills/ experience required for the role:

• Level 3 Food Hygiene
• Excellent numeracy and literacy at secondary education level
• Experience of leading teams
• Advanced Management/ Leadership training
• People Management Training
• Knowledge and experience gained in operating within a food manufacturing environment
• Awareness of LEAN principles
