About The Product Marketing Manager (Growth) Role
We are looking for an innovative and outcome-driven Product Marketing Manager (Growth) to drive product adoption of Float. This position requires a growth-oriented mindset paired with a deep understanding of product marketing, audience segmentation, customer journeys and user experience.
As the Product Marketing Manager (Growth) at Float you’ll:
  • Continuously test and experiment on new ways to ensure customers are aware of and consistently adopting Float product features, from signup onwards
  • Drive successful new product launches that result in adoption of new functionality
  • Identify new communication channels to drive adoption
  • Create highly segmented user journeys to deliver relevant messaging that drives deeper adoption of Float
  • Design, build and iterate on our customer funnel to drive greater adoption of Float from registration onwards
  • Work cross functionally with our Product team to identify and target adoption gaps across our customer base
  • Find creative ways to get customers to critical aha moments in the product as fast as possible
What your week-to-week looks like:
  • Design, build and execute in-app messaging around key product functionality
  • Collaborate with the Product Marketing Lead to launch new products and features, generating awareness, excitement and adoption
  • Design automated user flows in Intercom to deliver timely and relevant messaging to different Float user segments
  • Report on and share findings from growth experiments with the broader Float team
  • Build new spender and admin communications to educate our customers on key Float functionality and accelerate onboarding and adoption
Requirements
You’ll be great in this role if:
You’ve got the experience. 3-5 years experience in a similar product marketing, product operations or growth marketing role at a high growth organization including 2+ years experience in an early stage startup (Seed or Series A) where you had to build from scratch.
You are an owner. You have owned a quantitative metric and have experience being fully accountable for increasing product usage or other growth metrics.
You’re a technical marketer. You are experienced using Intercom or similar tools for product communications, and have intermediate level SQL skills. You have an excellent understanding of experimental test design, audience segmentation, tracking, and interpreting results.
You are an innovator. You are curious and relentless in your pursuit of growth targets and are excited to operate in a scrappy way. You have experience unlocking growth through creative problem solving.
You’re driven and action oriented. You have an extremely strong work ethic and approach each situation with energy and enthusiasm. You are committed and determined to achieve or exceed expectations and act with a sense of urgency.
This role won’t be a fit if:
  • You are not a self-starter
  • You don’t know how to build marketing programs from scratch
  • You have no prior experience of being accountable for pipeline or revenue targets
  • You don’t like ambiguity
  • You do not like to work independently
  • You have poor attention to detail
  • You like to use the same marketing playbook that everyone else is using
  • You like to play it safe
  • You don’t like regular feedback on your work
