Product Engineer

KSR is seeking a talented and dedicated Product Engineer to join our team at KSR International Inc. Fluency in Korean and English is required.

As a Product Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and enhancing our automotive components and systems, enabling us to deliver high-quality products that meet the industry's standards.

Qualifications

• Proficient in using CAD software (e.g., CATIA, NX, SolidWorks) to design and validate complex automotive systems.
• Fluent in Korean and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across different departments and cultures.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
• Knowledge of automotive manufacturing processes, materials, and quality standards.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge of Korean automotive regulations and standards is a plus.
• Familiarity with product development lifecycle, including design, validation, and manufacturing release processes.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work, able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical data and perform engineering calculations.
• Proven experience in product engineering within the automotive industry, preferably at a Tier 1 manufacturer.

Job Responsibilities

• Participate in product design reviews and provide technical recommendations for improvement, cost reduction, and manufacturability enhancement.
• Create and review engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company and industry standards.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Development, Manufacturing, Quality, and other stakeholders, to ensure smooth engineering and manufacturing processes.
• Design and engineer innovative automotive components, systems, and subsystems using CAD software tools.
• Other Duties as assigned
• Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
• Provide technical support to customers, addressing inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction
• Develop and maintain design guidelines, standards, and best practices to improve efficiency and quality in product engineering processes.
• Collaborate with suppliers to assess and select appropriate components, materials, and technologies for integration into the design.
• Conduct feasibility studies and perform tests and analyses to validate and optimize designs, ensuring that all required functionality and performance targets are met.
• Support project management activities, including creating project timelines, tracking progress, identifying risks, and proposing mitigation plans.
