Our growing company is currently looking to hire a Procurement Manager to join our team. the ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and evaluating CDN Controls Ltd.’s procurement department’s day to day operations. This includes management of all purchasing and warehouse staff.

• Analyze inventories to determine how to increase inventory turns, reduce waste, and optimize customer service
• Address tactical and strategic procurement issues
• Direct the hiring, training, supervision, mentoring, and performance evaluations of warehouse staff
• Collaborate with staff, other departments, senior management, and decision makers to share information, problem solve, and to clarify management objectives
• Daily posting of all internal sales invoices with applicable part number fixes
• Working with the Director of Supply Chain to negotiate prices and terms with suppliers and vendors
• Management of the Material Analyst to ensure all quotes are completed accurately and as per schedule
• Establish key performance indicators, monitor ongoing performance, and improve performance against set goals
• Maintain and develop positive business relationships with a customer’s key personnel involved in or directly relevant to purchasing activities
• Complete any internal training required for the position and any external training required at the cost of the company
• Prepare management reporting as required
• Management of the purchasing team to ensure effective management of the orders bin and requests coming from the field.
• Complete performance reviews of staff and jointly determine areas of development and training requirements
• Manage and coordinate the sales and operations planning process including supply & demand forecasting, inventory management, and on time delivery
• Identify and manage risk within the Procurement department
• Address any issues with field staff or client that cannot be handled at the purchaser level
• Address any issues presented from the billing department
• Management of the purchasing team and warehouse staff to ensure that their operating system data is up to date and checked for errors

Qualifications

• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Self-motivated individual
• Excellent interpersonal, teambuilding, and oral/written communication skills
• High level of critical and logical thinking, analysis, and reasoning skills
• Computer literate with experience using MS Office and fleet management system
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a managerial role
• Valid class 5 driver’s license
• Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Available Monday to Friday and occasional availability on weekends
