To further enhance our focus on technical expertise and the development of our business, we are seeking a progressive Procurement Representative to work collaboratively with ARC’s multidisciplinary technical teams. The individual will be responsible for providing strategic procurement services for the planning and execution across facilities engineering and construction operations.
RESPONSIBILITES:
  • Compile spend analysis to identify opportunities and areas of focus
  • Materials & Services
  • Work collaboratively with the Senior Procurement Representative and stakeholders
  • Conduct supply chain analysis and assist with developing long-term plans
  • Facility Equipment
  • Contribute to ARC’s strategic sourcing process to develop and execute a full-cycle supply chain strategy for categories including:
  • Complete vendor analysis on safety, quality, and pricing for the Facilities team
  • Process Equipment
  • Independently lead the RFP process, within company protocols
  • Conduct lookbacks on vendor performance to evaluate cost, efficiency, and service quality
  • Provide support in negotiating supplier and service agreements and contract management
  • Mechanical Construction
  • Seek and identify opportunities for shared services and materials between disciplines
  • Other Facilities categories as required
  • Work collaboratively and maintain excellent communication between all groups to ensure consistency and accuracy and effective knowledge sharing
  • Electrical & Instrumentation
  • Pipe, Valves & Fittings
  • Develop and implement a process for quick invoice verification vs pricing agreements
  • Pipeline Construction
  • Evaluate and recommend opportunities for new vendors
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Exceptional organizational, analytical and project management skills
  • A collaborative working style with exceptional personal integrity and work ethic and strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Results focused and can develop initiatives to drive performance improvements
  • Knowledge of regulatory guidelines for drilling in British Columbia and Alberta
  • A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Commerce, Engineering, or related fields, and a SCMP designation is an asset
  • Excellent business acumen and knowledge of economic drivers
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic procurement and supply chain management ideally in the oil and gas industry
  • Proven ability in multi-tasking, prioritization, and time management
  • Strong technical and operational experience and familiarity with facilities engineering and construction
  • Experience working with Indigenous communities, suppliers and service providers is an asset
  • Ability to independently identify issues, develop a plan and drive through to execution
