We’re searching for a driven individual who can help us streamline daily operations to ensure efficiency and adherence across all departments. The People & Operations Coordinator should treat employees as their internal clients and be comfortable communicating with all levels throughout the organization. They’re able to solve problems with an analytical mind-set, adjust to change quickly, and skilled at estimating and managing time for a variety of tasks. The ideal candidate is a natural coordinator who has a strong sense of big-picture objectives and a sharp eye for detail.
Who you'll be joining:
You’ll be reporting to the Head of Operations and will help them to build and scale the operations of the
company, including but not limited to:
- Time-off & Well-being; how do we ensure that employees are taking the time off they need? What does well-being mean to them?
- Compensation Philosophy & Model; when and how do we evaluate compensation? What is our formalized comp structure?
- OneDrive, SharePoint & Confluence; clean up, best practices and setting up a functional intranet.
- Employee Handbook and Policies & Guidelines; ensure that the company is in legal compliance with employment regulations while also ensuring employees feel supported and protected.
- Onboarding, Offboarding and Recruitment Program; how do we ensure we are providing the best experience to employees and candidates?
- Company Values and Culture; what is Sphere’s internal identity? How do we drive a culture of collaboration?
- Performance and Engagement Program; what does success look like and how can we get the best out of our people?
How you'll make an impact:
- Compiling key information from Department Heads for internal and external reporting.
- Support employees on a day-to-day basis and answer questions about company operations and policies;
- Maintain communication with Head of Operations, employees and vendors to ensure adherence to protocols across key touch points;
- Recommend new procedures for increasing the efficiency of day-to-day operations;
- Keep track of and analyze people metrics, running data checks and ensuring all records are accurate and up to date;
- Onboard new employees and ensure they have access to necessary resources and technology;
- Assist developing, planning, and coordinating people operational activities;
What you can offer:
- Experience building out People Programs with a team or leader(s).
- Demonstrated ability to research and analyze problems for leadership, providing feedback, guidance, and direction.
- A clear understanding of Human Resources best practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
