Description:
The Manager, Payment Application Processing, will lead a team that is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of various payment formats into the company’s end billing and ERP systems.
• Maintain and develop relationships with key internal stakeholders.
• Create and maintain training & process documentation related to cash receipt procedures and internal controls in support of SOX compliance.
• Coach and mentor, a direct team with a continuous improvement mindset to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Reduce overall unapplied/ unknown cash to ensure an accurate and up to date customer account view.
• Manage 3rd party service providers and ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements and KPIs.
• Accurate and timely entering of various payment types into multiple end systems while ensuring data integrity and compliance with established company guidelines.
• Prioritize and manage posting tasks, ensuring timely completion of assignments and meeting prescribed deadlines.
• Oversee and audit quality checks on cash posting, maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Support data analysis and reporting efforts by organizing and formatting data in preparation for further analysis and presentation.
• Develop KPI’s, dashboards and other month end schedules and reports as required.
• Previous experience in change management and the ability to influence your audience.
• Previous experience in vendor management.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
NICE TO HAVES:
• Bilingual (French)
• Experience in the waste industry
• Post-secondary education or equivalent experience
SOFT SKILLS:
• High degree of attention to detail, including the ability to accurately review and resolve issues.
• Ability to successfully prioritize and meet set deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written as well as verbal) with the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization in a professional manner.
