In this role you will be a valued member of Dawson Construction, working in a permanent, full-time position of Parts Driver, reporting to the Superintendent of Equipment and Maintenance. The Parts Driver is responsible for promptly assisting the needs of our customers and technicians in delivering required parts and supplies. Your base location will be Kamloops, BC.

What Success Looks Like

• Assisting with shipping and receiving
• Maintain a professional attitude, conduct and appearance
• Day to day tasks such as stocking shelves, general cleaning, yard maintenance etc.
• Accurately entering parts into inventory, putting parts away
• Provide timely and accurate parts deliveries
• Various Administrative tasks as required
• Build and maintain excellent customer rapport by interacting all customers in a professional and friendly manner
• Establish an efficient route of delivery
• Snow removal and culvert loading and unloading when needed
• Prioritize safety of self and others in all aspects of the job
• Operate the delivery vehicle in a safe and cautious fashion

What You Bring

• Delivery experience preferred
• Valid minimum Class 5 Drivers license
• Possess a clean driver abstract
• Detail oriented and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Professional and friendly demeanor
