Job Description
PARTS DELIVERY DRIVER POSTING


Premium Truck & Trailer merged with First Truck Centre and is now part of Canada's first and longest standing DTNA Elite support certified group of facilities in Western Canada representing Freightliner, Western Star, Autocar and Thomas Built Bus. We pride ourselves in offering total customer support in Sales, Service, Parts, and Body Shop services across thirteen branches throughout Alberta and British Columbia.


Opportunity


Our First Truck Centre location in Kelowna, previously known as Premium Truck & Trailer, has an exciting opening for the position of Parts Delivery Driver. Working on the front lines with our customers and staff, the Parts Delivery Driver will be responsible for all dealership finance and insurance sales as well as sales coordination activities.


Responsibilities


  • Picking and stocking parts
  • Operating our company truck to facilitate the pickup and delivery of parts throughout the area
  • Follow all safe driving regulations set out by the province and the company
  • Ensuring clean and orderly conditions
  • High standard for vehicle maintenance
  • Able to identify parts
  • Operating forklifts
  • Familiar with the streets and highways of the area
  • Assist with the loading and unloading of trucks


Skill Set


  • Ability to work in a physical capacity including heavy lifting
  • Strong willingness to following safety procedures and company policies
  • Must be a self-starter and able to work independently
  • Professionally represent the company while providing excellent customer service
  • Must be comfortable driving and maintaining a company vehicle


Requirements


  • Class 5 BC driver's license
  • High School Diploma (or currently completing high school)
  • Previous driving or warehouse experience an asset
  • Forklift experience an asset (training will be provided)
