Parts Coordinator Jobs

Responsibilities

The Parts Coordinator at Urbanmine manages the inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies.

This includes:

• Ordering and receiving new stock,
• Maintaining a well-organized storage system and required inventory levels,
• Maintaining and developing vendor relations,
• Preparing purchase orders and managing invoices,
• Helping select and direct the work of external contractors,
• Working closely with management, maintenance, operations, and accounting staff.

Qualifications & Skills

The successful candidate will:

• Communicate well (active listening, speaking, and writing),
• Have a proven ability to adapt to changing priorities,
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment,
• Promote and support QEH&S programs within Urbanmine,
• Be computer competent with experience using spreadsheets, word processors and database systems,
• Work unsupervised with excellent time management skills,
• Have strong organizational skills,
• Provide direction and insight into predictive and preventative maintenance.
• Embrace Lean Manufacturing principles and drive continuous improvement and 5S in the department,

Basic knowledge of AMMS (Advanced Maintenance Management System) is an asset, as is previous Lean training.

Candidates should have at least three years of experience in a closely related role.
