Our client is a privately owned and operated Canadian business that specializes in mobile and utility equipment for the mining, tunneling and construction industries. Our client offers Sales, Parts, and Service to customers as well as in-house Manufacturing, Engineering and Research and Development departments. Our client is an ISO-9001 Certified Company. We are looking for an ambitious and team-oriented individual to join our client's team as a Parts Advisor.
The role requires being hands on and will require the applicant being on their feet for most of the workday. Applicant must possess the ability to lift and support heavy loads, as some of the parts required for vehicles are quite heavy. Role will require the applicant to wear PPE (safety glasses, safety boots and gloves) for the majority of their workday.
Responsibilities
- Pick and issue parts for vehicles.
- Prepare kits and assemblies.
- Support Production Supervisor and Management to meet production deadlines.
- Monitor inventory within the parts system, communicate parts updates and availability with relevant team members.
- Collaborate across organization and communicate parts updates and availability.
- Work in collaboration with all departments to cost production orders.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Good Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) skills.
- Valid G license with the ability to drive manual transmission vehicles.
- Mechanical aptitude would be an asset.
- Demonstrated knowledge of production processes in an ERP system including inventory control.
- Experience in Automotive Service center would be considered a strong asset.
- Forklift license considered an asset.
- Enthusiastic, willing to learn and grow professionally within organization.
- Superb organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management.
- Experience with Made2Manage program desirable but not required.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in manufacturing, scheduling.
- Strong team member who can work with minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities.
- Safety focused and detail oriented.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly to production changes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Our Client offers a competitive base salary. Full benefits are also included and commence after the probation period.
