Work schedule: Monday to Friday, day shift


Travel (80% of the time on the road)


Territory : Northern Ontario


Full time permanent position


Reporting to the Business Development Director, the Outside Sales Representative is responsible for developing the used car purchasing facet of the Kenny U-Pull Northern Ontario market (Sudbury, North Bay) by developing strong relationships with suppliers and constantly searching for new clients. You will work closely with the call center and logistics team and strive to surpass purchasing objectives.


Responsibilities:


  • Participate in industry or promotional events (auction, car shows, etc) to cultivate customer relationships;
  • Solicit clients and develop your own client base (dealers, garages, auction houses, etc.);
  • Build solid relationships within the automobile and recycling industry;
  • Prospect and develop new accounts (60%);
  • Analyze sales data and carry out other administrative duties associated with the sales function;
  • Follow up on client leads in person, by telephone and email, as well as through social media;
  • Communicate effectively with other departments;
  • Manage existing B2B accounts within the assigned territory (40%);
  • Negotiate purchasing terms;
  • Occasional travel outside of assigned territory.


Qualifications


  • Field sales experience;
  • At least 2 years of experience in business development;
  • At least 5 years of sales experience;
  • Ability to cover a 2 hour territory (100km) from home office;
  • Experience in the Automotive Industry considered an asset;
  • Valid G driver’s licence and good driving record.
  • Ability to develop sales strategies and use performance KPIs;
  • Experience closing sales in a fast-moving industry;
