Job Description

OMS (Order Management System) Lead must have

  • Strong knowledge in Shell Scripting, SQL
  • Dynatrace, Grafana, Kibana, Rabbit MQ, Jenkins, Jira
  • Strong understanding on Batch Jobs and its working
  • Open Shift - Basic Understanding
  • Medium or high-level knowledge in Linux Servers

System Understanding: Understand the architecture and components of the Order Management System, considering scalability, performance, and integration with other systems. Understand workflows, and interfaces required for efficient order processing.

Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and expertise to the support team. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical challenges. Stay updated with the SOP changes and flow changes as part of process improvements related to order management systems.

Project Planning and Execution : Collaborate with project managers and other team members to define timelines, and deliverables. Estimate effort and resources required for OMS support as it is our legacy system.

Track the progress, identify risks, and take necessary actions to ensure timely and successful delivery.

Team Integration : Collaborate with other teams or vendors involved in the data flow and end-to-end order processing.

Documentation and Training : Create and maintain technical documentation, including system design documents, user manuals, and release notes. Conduct training sessions for support team whenever any changes happen in any of the area related to OMS.

Stakeholder Communication : Act as a point of contact for business stakeholders, providing regular updates on risks, and issues related to the OMS. Collaborate with Operations Engineers to address requirements, clarification and prioritize requests/needs.

  • Continuous Improvement : Identify opportunities for process improvement, efficiency enhancement, and optimization of the Order Management System. Propose and implement enhancements based on feedback from users and stakeholders.
