Position Type: Full-time (Monday to Thursday - 7am to 4:30pm, Friday 7am to 3:30pm)

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Mechanical Designer to join our dynamic team. If you're passionate about designing mechanical systems and solving complex engineering challenges, we want to hear from you.

As a Mechanical Designer at Creative GOAT, you will be at the forefront of our product development and engineering projects. Your role will involve conceptualizing, designing, and validating mechanical systems and components that meet our clients' needs and exceed industry standards.
Responsibilities:
·Conceptual Design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and create initial mechanical design concepts.
·Detailed Design: Develop detailed 3D CAD models and engineering drawings using industry-standard software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
·Prototype Development: Participate in the prototyping and testing phases to validate design concepts and troubleshoot issues.
·Material Selection: Select appropriate materials and components for mechanical systems, considering factors such as cost, performance, and sustainability.
·Engineering Analysis: Perform engineering calculations and simulations to evaluate the performance and integrity of mechanical designs.
·Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including bills of materials (BOMs), specifications, and design reports.
·Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and quality control teams to ensure seamless integration of designs into production.
·Quality Assurance: Verify that designs meet industry standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements.
·Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, and suggest process improvements and design optimizations.
·Problem Solving: Identify and resolve design and engineering challenges as they arise during the project lifecycle.
·Project Management: Assist in project management tasks, including scheduling, resource allocation, and budget tracking.

Qualifications:
·Education: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
·Experience: Proven experience as a Mechanical Designer, with at least 3 years of relevant experience in mechanical design and engineering.
·CAD Proficiency: Proficiency in 3D CAD software, such as SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor.
·Engineering Knowledge: Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
·Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to perform engineering calculations and simulations.
·Creativity: Innovative and creative thinking to develop unique solutions to engineering challenges.
·Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to diverse teams.
·Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
·Detail-Oriented: Meticulous attention to detail in design and documentation.
·Project Management: Familiarity with project management concepts and tools is a plus.
·Certifications: Relevant certifications, such as Autodesk CertifiedAssociate, are advantageous.
