Job Description

Position: Electro-Mechanical Technician – Straight Nights


Location: Markham, ON


Shift: Nights


Pay Rate: $35 - $36 per hour


Status: Permanent / Full-Time


Industry: Manufacturing / Automation / Electro-Mechanical / Electronics /SMT


Responsibilities


  • Troubleshooting electrical and mechanical failures
  • Among other duties as assigned
  • Interface with different engineering departments to improve manufacturing and maintenance performance
  • Preventative Maintenance, repair, and implementation of work orders on diverse production equipment


Qualifications


  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Electro-Mechanical Engineering Technology – Automation and Robotics diploma required (3-year course)
  • Previous experience in an electronic environment a definite asset
  • 1-5 years process related technician experience
  • Experience working with Surface Mount Technology (SMT)
