Job Description
Position Summary


Part analyst, part strategist, part manager, you will create and implement strategies, tactics, campaigns and brand messaging to improve corporate branding and help generate quality leads. Developing highly effective marketing campaigns. Brilliantly targeting ideal customers. Making it all happen on time and within budget. Bringing a healthy mix of skill, management and mentorship experience, and initiative to the company.


Responsibilities


  • Together with the Sr. Vice-President, Sales & Marketing, design a coherent and complete marketing strategy for the Matrox Video division, as well as corporate driven efforts to improve and maintain Matrox’s overall presence and visibility in the high tech world, using all medias;
  • Offer expert advice to develop innovative advertising, public relations, social media and events;
  • Provide guidance to the teams, plan, monitor and appraise job results, providing counseling and disciplining employees when necessary;
  • Work with the Human Resources department on recruitment and employer branding campaigns.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Work with the Business development team and Sales teams on brand initiatives;
  • Develop and implement marketing plans, including promotional calendars and programs, new product introductions and other marketing projects;
  • Develop sales forecasting and product branding plans;
  • Participate in the development of branding and corporate identity initiatives;
  • Create and manage marketing budgets;
  • Conduct customer, brand and product research initiatives;
  • Oversee the company’s website and use of analytics tools;
  • Supervise the marketing teams, including hiring and other resource management related tasks, training, workloads, schedules and deadlines;
  • Negotiate with media partners to guarantee advantageous contracts;
  • Manage the Marketing teams, promote a culture of innovation and maintain a positive work environment;
Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in marketing or a related field;
  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience managing a Marketing department; Experience in a high-tech environment will be considered a strong asset;
  • Fluently bilingual, excellent French and English skills, both written and spoken.
  • Capacity to develop budgets and familiar with financial planning and strategy;
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns;
  • Proven working experience in digital marketing, particularly within the high-tech industry;
  • Initiating and Managing department processes, practices and methodologies;
  • Creating and maintaining client relationships;
  • Proficient in marketing research and statistical analysis;
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate;
