DESCRIPTION
GFD Canada is searching for a marketing enthusiast to provide graphic design support and also be the conduit between GFD’s marketing team and the business development team. This is a great opportunity for an up-and-coming marketing professional looking to join a growing company in financial services industry serving a niche market segment in the bereavement sector.
The role is responsible for identifying, recommending, developing, and creating various forms of marketing collateral. The role also provides a range of marketing support to GFD’s Business Development Team.
- Under direction, produce a variety of marketing collateral to support GFD’s customer and corporate marketing initiatives including graphical elements, imagery, and other content for website, e-mail campaigns, direct mail campaigns, presentations, advertising, and fact sheets.
- Participate in the development and implementation of the company’s brand strategy.
- Update and maintain customer and corporate website content.
- Work with the Team to establish project plans for, coordinate the rollout of, and monitor the implementation of marketing plans and tactics, including corporate events.
- Implement various elements of GFD’s membership communication plan.
- Maintain membership and prospect lists in GFDs CRM database.
- Maintain the promotional materials inventory.
- Act as the first point of contact for GFD’s Business Development Team, responding to support requests.
- Provide support in tracking prospecting strategy and membership uptake and produce reports as needed.
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience using CRM tools for data management, reporting, and implementation
- Experience using the Adobe Suite of products, Microsoft Office, WordPress, HTML, CSS
- Graphic design, web design, object and creative skills and experience
- Project coordination experience
- Solid knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools
- Experience working in the financial services or a related industry in a marketing, sales support or customer-facing environment
- Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma in marketing or communications
