We are looking for a designer to join our team.

As Designer you will:

_Assist the design team in Print and Digital projects from concept to completion.

_Design documents, reports, advertising pieces, social media graphics and promotional materials.

_Ensure the design is structured, visually organized and follows the brand visual identity.

_Source original photography & illustration.

_Be responsible for delivering to set tasks, ensuring you are well-briefed.

_Work independently or as a part of a team.

_Collaborate with the team, learning from those around you.

_Demonstrate curiosity, ask questions that will help the team push boundaries with new and innovative thinking.

_ Stay updated with industry trends.

_ Be present, open, human, welcome adversity and trust your instincts.

Requirements

_ Expert in Adobe CC (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)

_ Strong understanding of the creative process, layout and typography

_ Capacity to deliver production-ready files for print and web

_ Good Retouching Skills

_ Attention to detail and sense of organization

_ Basic knowledge of After Effects and video editing software (beneficial)

_ Ability to create original illustrations (beneficial)

_ Photography skill (beneficial)

_ Previous work experience (ideal)

Job Summary

_ 3-month contract with opportunity to become full-time

_ You will work remotely, with some in person time and minimal travel

_ Our office is located in Oakville, ON

_ Opportunity to join our 4 Day Work Week pilot if the role becomes full-time
