Our client, a Toronto-based design firm, is looking for a Marketing Coordinator join their Toronto-based Marketing team. They are a firm specializing in architecture, commercial, and retail design and are regarded as industry leaders.

Your New Role:

The marketing team seeks a Marketing Coordinator to manage digital media and content management platforms, as well as contributing to the company website using Photoshop and Adobe Creative Suite to manage social graphic pieces. You will contribute to direct marketing brand strategy, while also working on social media and email marketing, working alongside some of the top names in the Interior Design industry.

Responsibilities:

• Graphic Design/Visual Marketing Experience
• An emphasis on “Storytelling.” This means being able to convey a project or brand’s story and identify in a creative and engaging way across a variety of marketing platforms at your disposal.
• Email Marketing Experience
• Working directly with the principals and Marketing Manager, you will have the opportunity to contribute to marketing strategy and execution.
• Bonus, experience with Google Analytics and interpreting marketing data.
• Having control over social media marketing (emphasis on Instagram and TikTok)

Qualifications:

• Strong collaboration, communication and organizational skills
• Has a natural proficiency in digital platforms, such as: Familiarity with content management systems for managing apps or websites; Experience using social media platforms in a professional context (e.G. Instagram and TikTok) Working knowledge of Google Analytics
• 2-3 years of experience in a related field (ideally in Interior Design or Architecture)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; • Knowledge of HTML an asset;
• Proficiency in graphic design and/or layout design and/or knowledge of programs such as Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat) and/or Canvas;
• Outstanding graphic and visual presentation skills
• Ability to use Adobe Premiere Pro, Lightroom or other photo/video editing tools an asset
• Exceptional verbal communication skills
• Certificate or degree in Graphic Design or Visual Media studies is a bonus
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing/Communications or related field.
• Interest in and knowledge about the industry and language of Interior Design/Architecture
• Strong networking skills; enjoys engaging with clients and the industry through various events and organizations
• Ambitious self-starter with a get-it-done attitude who strives for results and performs well under pressure
• Ability to focus on multiple projects simultaneously
