Job Description
Your New Role and Team


Our Marketing and Communications team is looking to hire a Marketing and Communications Intern, Digital Marketing for a 4-month term. Reporting to the Marketing and Communications Managers, you’ll gain a comprehensive understanding of the entire marketing initiative process from ideation to implementation that builds upon Sanctuary’s brand. This position is a paid, full-time 4-month position.


The best candidates for this role have excellent marketing theory knowledge, are passionate about using technology to create lasting positive change in the world, and ideally have previous hands-on experience with executing and delivering marketing campaigns. You enjoy working with a close-knit and collaborative team with opportunities to engage cross functionally with other Sanctuary teams and have a sharp eye for detail and aesthetics to deliver high-quality work. Your peers would describe you as a team player who goes the extra mile and is not afraid to tackle new challenges. You’ll be a valued contributor as you learn and adapt to help lead a new and emerging industry of human-like intelligence in general-purpose robots.

Responsibilities


  • Support in developing marketing strategies that align with Sanctuary AI’s mission and business outcomes
  • Build, manage, and execute campaigns across various digital channels, including social media, search engines, display advertising, landing pages, and more
  • Support in the project management of marketing initiatives to ensure deliverables are met on-time and of high quality
  • Conduct market research, A/B testing, regular audits, and trend analysis to identify new opportunities and areas of improvement
  • Support the marketing and communications team with additional marketing activities as required
  • Develop PPC campaigns from start to finish, including segmentation, establishing KPIs, advertising copy, and campaign optimization
  • Work with Marketing and Communications team members on developing content marketing, SEO, and SEM strategies to improve SERP and website performance
  • Measure, track, and report on the performance of digital marketing campaigns and SEO/SEM, and assess against KPIs and other relevant metrics


Your Experience


Qualifications:


  • Avid interest and passion for artificial intelligence and robots is a plus
  • Professional experience in a position that required creativity, problem-solving, and accountability is a plus
  • Final year student or recently graduated with a degree in digital marketing, business, or have relevant experience and/or committed interest in digital marketing (for example, previously held or currently holding marketing leadership positions in extracurricular activities, passed at least one relevant undergraduate course, curated portfolio of relevant digital marketing work)


Skills:


  • Proficient in using analytic and data visualization tools, for example Google Analytics, and Looker Studio
  • Proficient in using digital marketing and marketing automation tools, for example Google Adwords, Google Search Console, Semrush, Mailchimp, Hubspot, Marketo, Ahrefs, and any other equivalent software
  • Familiar with Google Workplace, Microsoft Office, and Slack
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus
  • Understands the importance of and demonstrates having a keen eye for detail
  • Familiar with conducting A/B and multivariate testing to optimize campaigns, website, and overall performance
  • Expertly skilled in creating and managing digital marketing channels, including SEO, PPC, social media, email marketing, and display advertising
