Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual equipment
• Machine product to specified requirements as defined within production shop orders, drawings, and sketches
• Maintain equipment in safe and productive condition, including but not limited to, regular routine lubrication, cleaning, maintaining coolant levels
• Read and interpret blueprints
• Operate overhead cranes and forklifts for material handling of large product

Qualifications

• Prior Machinist experience required
• Familiarity with material handling equipment (overhead cranes and forklifts) and the safe handling of large objects
• Demonstrated communication, problem-solving, interpersonal and analytical skill
• A good understanding of machining principles is essential
• Good knowledge of cutting tools
