CNC Programmer

The CNC Programmer is responsible for crafting quality precision metal parts according to their CAD designs using CAM software required by the machine.

Qualifications:

• Capable of operating heavy equipment such as a forklift and crane.
• Completion of secondary school and/or a four-year apprenticeship/college diploma in a manufacturing field or a related discipline
• Capable of recognizing and solving problems
• Time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
• Proficient in computers and Tebis software with the ability to use various computer applications such as Microsoft Office, Power-mill, Lemoine, will be considered an asset
• Minimum 6 years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Familiar with Heidenhain CNC Controls 530 and 640 considered an asset
• Knowledge of 2D and 3D work will be considered an asset.
• Ability to adapt and welcome change (ex. new equipment, technology, etc.) in a positive manner.
