Responsibilities

• Machining parts from Carbon steel, stainless steel, iron alloys
• Measure first run parts, using micrometers and calipers
• G-code and M-code
• Perform PM's and troubleshoot on machines and equipment (Mill and Lathe), and record in log book
• Drilling, milling 3d parts, de-burring own machined parts
• Reading and interpreting blueprints and GD&T's
• 5 axis experience, DMG / Mazak
• Setup tooling and some programming from scratch

Qualifications

• Good communication skills
• Custom job shop experience would be considered an asset
• CNC Machinist with minimum 2 - 5 years experience ideal
• Someone who is highly motivated and a team player
• Candidates with Manual Machining experience will be given preference
• Mastercam experience would be considered an asset
• Experience with Mill and Lathe machining set-up/modifying programs/programming from scratch ideal
• Strong experience with G-Code and M-Code
• High attention to detail
