About Your Role
The Manager / Senior Manager, Investment Finance will be responsible for managing and supervising a team of 4 to 5 employees (mostly CPA) in the below area of activities.
As a Manager / Senior Manager, Investment Finance, you’ll:

• Assist in department initiative and special projects
• Assist in various other tasks specific to the team’s activities, including Ad Hoc requests
• Be responsible for managing and reviewing financial information and the related controls for the Real estate asset class
• Build strong and professional relationship with our internal business partners
• Review various new deal analysis and support the group in referential data validation
• Review mark to market (“MTM”) entries for Real Estate private funds and direct investments to ensure all MTM are properly reflected in the accounting system
• Review and coordinate complete, accurate and timely information for accounting, reporting and management purposes for the asset class, at month end, quarter end, year-end and on an ad-hoc basis
• Collaborate with directors and senior directors of the Taxation, Legal and Investment Support departments regarding information on legal structures for the Real estate asset class
• Assist in the annual audit with respect to fair value

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration with a specialization in accounting
• Experience in financial services or private investment sector such as Real Estate is an asset
• Adaptability and flexibility
• Minimum of 10 years of related working experience
• Excellent knowledge of Excel and ability to learn how to use new systems
• Good understanding of private or public market investment operations is an asset
• Professional designation (CPA-CA, CPA-CGA or CPA-CMA)
• Excellent organizational skills and highly capable of prioritizing
• Solid analytical, financial and accounting skills
• Team spirit and ability to work in a high-performance culture
• Highly organized, multitasking skills and time management
• Autonomy and sense of responsibility
• Bilingualism: English and French (Frequent interactions in English with PSP employees based in our offices in Hong Kong, London and New York, and interactions in French with employees in our local offices in Montreal and Ottawa)
• High degree of professionalism with strong spoken and written communication skills
