The Finance Team manages the performance and risk profile of Bell, ensuring the needs of customers, investors and employees are balanced with long-term business success. Summary
The Performance Management Team is part of Bell Canada’s Controller and Taxation group whose mandate is to maintain the integrity of our financial information and systems while enhancing decision-making by providing best in class financial information and advice.
The Performance Management group performs the monthly internal reporting to the Executive team. This entails producing an extensive monthly report along with detailed analysis of financial and operational results. We also support the quarterly external reporting process including preparation of segment analysis for the MD&A and review of all external documents. Additionally we support various strategic initiatives and provide ad-hoc analysis to support executive decisions. The team also maintains consolidated operating metrics, support cost allocations and product profitability. This position is ideal for an individual looking to work in a dynamic and challenging environment and presents an excellent opportunity to learn about Bell Canada operations and processes. We seek a self-starting and dynamic person, who is detail-oriented and a team player.

Key Responsibilities
- Support various Company strategic initiatives (e.g. acquisitions)
- Proactively identify opportunities to streamline and automate processes and implement appropriate improvements
- Ensure that all relevant organizational changes are reflected in the results report
- Prepare and submit for approval all required reports and analyses
- Collaborate with the Business Units to obtain and combine all financial data required for the monthly results report
- Produce the monthly results report on a timely basis. Ensure the accuracy and completeness of the monthly results report. Communicate monthly reporting requirements to the Business Units
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and accuracy essential for performance success
- Strong knowledge of BCP and SAP integrated systems
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, with an advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Must be a team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Bilingual (French and English)
- A professional accounting designation (i.e. CPA, CA, CMA, CGA) or are in the process of obtaining one
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, manage conflicting priorities and work on various deliverables simultaneously
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to plan and execute independently
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business analysis or any other discipline relevant to the job
