Manager Of Steel Profile Sales

METALZR Profiles has state of the art Fiber Optic & C02 Metal Laser Cutters, CNC Plasma Cutting, Beveling, Drilling and Tapping, Production Welding, Fabrication and 3 CNC Brake Presses in our facility that will allow us to give our customers multiple Process Steel profiles with high quality products, quick turnaround, and competitive pricing.

Our organization is searching for a highly motivated Sales Manager to join our staff. The ideal candidate has sales and account management experience in selling Steel Laser Profiles, Plasma Profiles, Forming and Welding Services.

• Responsible for the management of the Sales Team, developing and executing a Sales and Marketing Plan
• Minimum 8 to 10 daily out calls to customers (existing and potential)

Responsibilities:

• Prepare quotes for customers
• Preparing quotes, calling on customers and receiving customer orders via phone, e-mail, mail or in person
• Follow all applicable quality policy and procedures as per Quality Manuals
• Follow all safety rules and regulations.
• Review sales order for completeness, delivery date, price, and quantity
• Quotes and solicits customer orders via phone, e-mail and/or through visitations
• Maintain contract review records
• Perform to meet sales target established by the General Manager
• Responsible to handle amendments to contracts and follow-up activities
• Receive verbal orders and enter on customer order form or sales book
• Prepare and submit quarterly sales report
• Reports to the General Manager
• Checks for availability prior to accepting order
• Assist in defining type of controls exercised over the supplier or sub-contractors
• Receives customer orders via phone, mail, or email
• Initiate Non-conformance report
• Receive customer complaints and inform the General Manager for corrective and preventative actions
• Assist in future sales forecast

Essential Skills:

• Able to complete assignments on time
• Computer use, Outlook, Excel/Word and Computer Keyboarding

• Minimum grade 12 or equivalent
• Self-starter, team builder and decision maker
• Coaching and Team development
• Minimum 5-10 years experience
• Blueprint reading
• Able to read, write and speak English
