Your Opportunity
Our Edmonton office is looking for a Manager to join our Financial Reporting & Insights team and own the following responsibilities:
  • Oversee non-assurance engagements for private clients to ensure adherence to relevant professional standards and Firm policies
  • Utilize industry and business expertise to anticipate, identify, and resolve issues that are pertinent to the client's business
  • Address client issues promptly, adhering to BDO Policy, and utilizing your strong technical skills and accounting experience
  • Supervise the preparation of working paper files, financial statements, corporate and personal tax returns, and personally complete them when necessary
  • Continuously cultivate a portfolio of new clients and identify business opportunities for existing clients

Your Experience And Education
  • You possess relevant experience and a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (with a specific focus on Excel)
  • You prioritize teamwork, client service, and quality in all aspects of your work
  • You exhibit robust problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
  • You have at least 5 years of professional experience in the public accounting industry, with a minimum of 1+ year(s) of experience at the management level
  • Serve as a role model and leader within the Firm, actively promoting employee engagement
  • Completion of your CPA designation is preferred, but not mandatory
