Job Description
Responsibilities


  • Assist with the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end general ledger (GL) close-off procesS
  • Other duties as required
  • Perform ad hoc analytics as needed by Boardwalk’s Management Team or Operations Associates
  • Assist with the review and testing of disclosure controls and procedures (“DC&P”) and internal controls over financial reporting (“ICFR”)
  • Assist with the preparation and review of quarter-end and year-end consolidated financial statements, MD&A, and other public disclosure documents
  • Assist with reviewing the Financial Reporting group’s work (total of 6 Associates), including journal entries to post into the GL and supporting workbooks, to ensure financial records are accurate, complete, and fully supported
  • Assist with maintaining the accuracy of the general ledger and sub-ledgers
  • Assist the auditors with quarter end and year end audit requests


Experience And Educational Requirements


  • Knowledge of business best practices
  • University bachelor’s degree
  • Chartered Professional Accountant with 2 to 3 years work experience post designation


Technical Requirements


  • Proficiency with Office 365 (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
  • Sound analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge with accounting software and working in a fast-paced computer environment
