We are looking for someone who wants to make a positive impact in a diverse and dynamic organization as our Technology Technical Manager. While in this role you will play a key role in driving the enterprise architecture function in terms of defining Business and TIS strategies and translating them into execution plans. Additionally, you will gather the requirements for future application architecture changes and identify the techniques and technologies that should be applied at the application level with an additional focus on M&As. You will also drive system architecture and design decisions with the TIS EMT and SMT Leverage industry trends to craft and implement innovative processes and solutions that align with the overall innovation strategy as well as the enterprise service strategy of the company. Candidates must be experience with large enterprise system architecture, integration, security, infrastructure and operations in a variety of technologies and solutions. What You Will Do
  • Develop the long-term vision and product roadmap of key product suites in conjunction with the enterprise architecture
  • Define and documents target state architecture for all the strategic initiatives and works with project teams to gain alignment on the target state
  • Translate business strategies into actionable architecture strategies for multiple business and technical disciplines
  • Evaluate, build and elevate advance technology roadmaps for the next 3-5 years with an alignment to strategic business initiatives and M&As
  • Establish performance metrics to ensure successful outcomes of Enterprise Architecture departmental initiatives, including cloud, data governance, data & analytics
  • Identify goals and objects for system integrator and managed service vendors to ensure their service delivery aligns with department objectives
  • Craft the TIS operating model and orchestrate the department to enable more business value
  • Cultivate a collaborative and partnered relationship with vendors to maximize the value from vendor relationships and drive maturity in the technology landscape
  • Provide technical leadership to architecture resources across solution, network, infrastructure, data, and security components and to the business in the use of information and data (the art of the possible).
  • Define and drive development of future state architectures for Enbridge and craft technology solutions to achieve the future state, in alignment with business strategies and goals
Who You Are
You have:
  • Knowledge and Experience in implementing cloud (IaaS and SaaS) for large organizations
  • An advanced University degree in a related field, e.g., Computer Engineering, MBA or equivalent.
  • 12 - 15 years of experience as a Enterprise Technical or Solutions architect or similar role.
You Can
  • Demonstrate experience using data governance and analytics tools for business purposes. Knowledge of key data warehousing concepts and SQL is required
  • Show the ability to work closely with other architecture disciplines across integration, data, security, application and reporting.
  • Demonstrate experience in implementing enterprise platforms and solutions covering broad requirements with multiple partner groups
You Are
  • Someone with highly developed organizational skills to prioritize tasks and complete work within defined time frames in a fast paced program environment
  • A person with experience with presenting complex technical topics to executive leadership.
  • Someone who possess sophisticated communication skills proven through previous experience in the following contexts: multi-disciplinary project meetings, technical reviews with architects, developers and SME’s;

Physical Requirements Include But Are Not Limited To
Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, reads fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.
