You’re a consummate “people” person who’s energized by connecting with others, having opportunities to speak to large groups, and making presentations within the community. You’re looking for a chance to use your skills to advance a purpose-driven organization that’s making a positive difference in the community.

Our client – a growing non-profit healthcare funder – is looking for a resourceful, experienced professional to build relationships and manage a sizeable portfolio of corporate donors. The right person for the role is a strong communicator with administrative, organizational and relationship-building skills.

Please note that our client has a mandatory COVID-19 vaccination policy in place. Interviewees will be required to present proof of vaccination upon arrival at their office.

About The Role

  • Initiate and secure corporate partnerships and event sponsorships with a minimum value of $10,000 annually
  • Communicate with corporate donors through in-person and virtual meetings, phone calls, mailings and email correspondence
  • Represent the organization through face-to-face presentations in the community at donor events and meetings
  • Serve as the lead relationship manager in the engagement, cultivation and stewardship of corporate partnerships
  • Identify opportunities for growth and expansion within existing relationships

About You

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a supportive team environment
  • Specialized education such as a master’s degree, certificate in fundraising management or CFRE training is considered an asset
  • Experience in successfully managing all aspects of corporate partnerships
  • Comfortable using donor database software
  • Demonstrated ability to solicit major gifts ($10,000+) by creating tailored proposals/grants and carrying out strategic moves management processes
  • 5+ years’ experience with fundraising and donor relations
  • Skilled at navigating complex scenarios that require self-directed decision making
  • Degree in business, communications, non-profits or a related field
  • Strong relationship management skills, able to establish and cultivate positive working relationships with individuals at all levels
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle is required
  • Professional communicator who’s articulate, creative and persuasive with internal and external stakeholders
