BC Emergency Services (BCEHS) is seeking to recruit three (3) managers to help lead Clinical Operations in the Interior District.


What You’ll Do


  • Ensure patient care is efficient, effective and safe
  • Promote a patient-focused, supportive and respectful culture
  • Provide strategic and operational leadership in a 24/7 operation
  • Work closely with team members from across the organization and with external stakeholders to identify risks and develop evidence-based solutions
  • Plan, deliver, and evaluate out-of-hospital health services using data to inform intelligent decisions
  • Travel within your district, connecting with your team, both in the boardroom and in the field
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate solutions to improve services in your area of responsibility, and provincially
  • Foster an environment of continuous learning and innovation
  • Lead, coach and mentor supervisors and front line staff
  • Serve as an influential leader and key member of our clinical operations management team


What You Bring


Qualifications and Certifications


  • A valid paramedic or other relevant professional license to practice in BC is desirable (or out of province equivalent)
  • At least five years of progressively more responsible experience in health care, or the delivery of emergency management services or other complex care settings

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Proven ability to lead with confidence and ability to reflect on action, using a range of skills to ensure high standards of care are delivered
  • Demonstrated ability to build positive and effective relationships and connections with employees, other leaders, health care partners, our community, and the private sector
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment, moving easily from the front lines to the boardroom
  • Passion and curiosity as a leader, helping others develop, and a commitment to continuous improvement

Salary: $96,429 – $120,537+ The starting salary for this position would be determined with consideration of the successful candidate’s relevant education and experience and would be in alignment with the provincial compensation reference plan.
