Hours of Work for the Training Period: Day Shift

What you will be responsible for at Embassy:
- Installing, troubleshooting, and repairing facility fixtures, equipment, and electronic controls and systems, including motor control centers, schematics, power supplies, and automation.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems including gear boxes, motors, air compressors, pumps, AC/DC drive troubleshooting, Complex machine controls and instrumentation, complex welding/brazing, pneumatics, carpentry.
- Fabricating and/or installing electrical/ electronic/ electromechanical systems.
- Troubleshooting mechanical devices, dismantling/examining devices to gain access to and remove defective parts
- Knowledge of power distribution, PLC programming, Allen-Bradley PLC’s, voltages, speed controls, AC and DC drives
- Performing/documenting work orders and preventative maintenance tasks using CMMS system.
- Diagnosing equipment malfunctions using appropriate test instruments and circuit diagrams.
- Maintaining and repairing electrical/electronic/electromechanical systems.
- Knowledge and understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems/components, and how they operate
- Providing technical assistance to maintenance and production personnel as needed.
What you will need to bring to Embassy:
- Knowledge of electrical code of Ontario is an asset
- Must be comfortable using technology and using it to propel efficiencies in the plant
- Licensed Industrial/Maintenance Electrician or Licensed Electrician with demonstrated competency in mechanical maintenance.
- Knowledge of blueprint reading and electrical and electronic control schematics is an asset
- Knowledge of ABB robotics, PLC Controllers/Programming is an asset
