Job Description
About Trojan Technologies

At Trojan Technologies, we believe there’s nothing more essential than delivering clean water to the world. That’s especially true in this critical moment, when the world’s supply of clean water is under substantial stress due to industrialization, increasing demand, and rising biological and chemical contamination. Our mission is to stem that tide: to ensure greater water confidence and environmental stewardship for people, industries, and municipalities, improving the lives of over one billion people globally.

As part of our global team, you’ll work alongside customers from municipalities to pharmaceutical and food and beverage companies to build creative, sustainable solutions. You’ll also find a welcoming and supportive team that listens to your ideas and allows you to follow your strengths. All of us feel privileged to work on innovative technologies that bring clean water to the world—we hope you will, too.

Position Summary

We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator: someone responsible for coordinating and overseeing various aspects of logistics and supply chain management. Their primary role is to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of goods, services, and information between suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders.

Accountabilities

  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to logistics operations, such as transportation costs, delivery accuracy, and inventory turnover. Prepare regular reports and provide analysis on logistics activities, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Freight Management: Arrange and coordinate transportation logistics, including negotiating with carriers, selecting appropriate shipping methods, and tracking shipments to ensure on-time delivery. Resolve any issues or delays that may arise during transportation.
  • Planning and Scheduling: Coordinate the scheduling and planning of logistics activities, including the transportation of goods, and order fulfillment. Develop and maintain detailed logistics plans to optimize efficiency and minimize costs.
  • Supply Chain Management: Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and transportation providers to ensure timely delivery of goods and materials. Monitor inventory levels (Finished goods and Raw material) and coordinate with the procurement team and operation team to ensure adequate stock levels and minimise finished goods inventory.

Qualifications

  • Education: A degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business or a related field is often preferred.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in similar roles.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using logistics and supply chain management software, such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and Transportation Management Systems (TMS). Strong computer skills, including spreadsheet and data analysis tools, are also important.
