What To Expect
Tesla is looking for a highly motivated and deeply process-oriented Logistics Coordinator. The role manages the shipment, receipt and movement of products, materials, and supplies. Our Tesla Toronto Automation location is currently looking for a highly motivated “hands-on” individual contributor for this role.
What You’ll Do

• Claim submission for courier providers and status follow-up
• Attend Logistics/ SRF training sessions with interns
• Support on large projects as required by Logistics team
• Collaborate with stakeholders on daily rush and spare parts shipments
• Support on large project tracker as required by Logistics team
• Send customs documentation to broker for clearance support of shipments
• Monitor Ad Hoc shipment request status
• Develop SOPs as required by Logistics team
• Daily monitoring & updating status of rush shipments to internal/external stakeholders
• Submit shipment requests to Ad Hoc
• Manage dangerous goods shipments as required
• Coordinate local shipments and create paperwork as required
• Collaboration with freight forwarders (Air, Ocean, LTL, FTL, Specialized equipment, etc.)
• Complete packaging and paperwork for daily rush shipments
• Daily order entry of rush and spare parts shipments
• Print and save shipping labels and/or BOL, and customs documents for daily shipments accordingly
• Create CERS declarations as required
• Prioritize and collaborate with internal stakeholders on daily rush shipments
• Update M1 ERP system as required for orders and shipments with packaging details and customs details
• Collaboration with Ad Hoc team for special cases (Hazmat, LTL, Specialized equipment, etc.)
• Support procurement team with different shipment requests (local, international & returns) as required

What You’ll Bring

• Manage dangerous goods shipments
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in shipping/receiving & Logistics
• Takes initiative and is willing to constantly learn and adapt to different circumstances
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-focused environment
• Possess a “get it done” attitude and urgency to resolve problems/ tasks
• Ability to work well in a team environment is mandatory
• Ability to trouble-shoot and problem solve with minimal supervision
• Good organizational and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with Harmonized Tariff System (HTS codes) is a plus
• Willing to work overtime as required to complete the job
• Customer service experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Data entry experience, comfortable using modern technology
• Goal, task, and detail oriented
• College certificate or University degree in related fields: International Business, Supply Chain, Logistics
