Position: Liquor Store Supervisor
Role Responsibilities:
• Sales - assisting customers; answering their questions and making knowledgeable recommendations
• Cashier work - checking out customers using a POS machine
• Inventory - ordering inventory, counting inventory, moving inventory, unpacking boxes, and stocking shelves
• Maintain specifiedinventory, Prepare reports on sales volumes,merchandising and personnel matters
• General cleaning - sanitizing, dusting, and sweeping
• Online orders - preparing and packaging
• Management - oversee day-to-day operations, make orders, and prepare reports on sales volumes
• Resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages
Requirements:
• Education – Bachelor’s degree in administration, commerce, business, or related discipline
• Language – Must be able to communicate in English. Knowing other languages is an asset.
• Must have excellent communication skills - you will be required to interact with clients in professional and engaging manner
• Must be 19 years of age or older
• Must be able to lift 30 lbs. This role requires standing, counting and ordering inventory, lifting 20-30 lbs cases of alcohol
• Must have, or able to obtain ProServe certification by job start date
• Must be able to work morning, evenings and weekends shift
• Supervisor experience is an asset
• Must be able to legally work in Canada
Salary: $22.00 per hour
Hours: Full-time (35 to 40 hours/week)
