Reporting to the Manager, Outpatient Services Fort St. John, the Rehabilitation Lead is accountable for the overall supervision, administration, and coordination of rehabilitation services including physical therapy and occupational therapy to provide effective, efficient, and quality provision of care in the Northeast Health Service Delivery Area. The incumbent will perform therapeutic assessments and treatments along the full continuum of care, including outpatient, inpatient, and long-term care settings. The Lead will contribute to program planning and implementation; coordination and evaluation of services; and allocation of resources to meet service needs

Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Monday to Friday, Days - 07:30 to 15:30

New Wage: As of April 1, 2023, the new wage is: $47.72 - $59.36/hour

Qualfications

• A graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program, or if educated outside of Canada has successfully completed the Canadian registration examination process.
• Currently eligible to be licensed with the College of Occupational Therapists of BC.
• Clinical supervision and practice education preceptor experience an asset.
• Three (3) years of clinical experience.
• Membership in the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists preferred.

Skills And Abilities

• Equipment: Demonstrated computer skills including the use of Meditech and Windows based programs. Demonstrated data analysis skills including appropriate data analysis and reporting tools. Demonstrated ability in the use of e-mail and word processing. Ability to operate other related equipment as required in the specific practice area.
• Communication: Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, the public, medical staff and the members of the interdisciplinary team using, oral written and computer communication means. Demonstrated ability to effectively resolve conflict.
