Job Description
Welcome to Timbre!
We are Timbre Games (part of the Sumo Digital Group), a new studio in Vancouver, Canada focused on making exciting, innovative game experiences. Timbre’s vision is to change the games industry through the original games we make, as well as how we make them. We’re building an inclusive, supportive culture that allows us to explore fresh, new (and sometimes weird) ideas. We’re searching for more visionary explorers to join our team of diverse voices, coming together to develop games that are accessible to a wide audience.
If you’re thinking about your next adventure, send us your resume to talk to our team about how you can add your voice to the games we’re working on.
Production at Timbre Games
Producers at Timbre draw on their organizational leadership skills to create processes and structure that foster innovation and fun. Through their stewardship of our Agile production, they create an empowered, highly accountable, and collaborative team culture. They are champions of the Agile process and mindset who confidently guide cross-discipline teams through iteration cycles, removing impediments to the teams’ success. Embracing uncertainty and curiosity, Producers create the space for the team to try new ideas, understanding that iteration and experimentation are key to game development. The creative space we shape enables our development team to create an accessible, player-first experience, a key ingredient in Timbre’s development philosophy!
In this role as Lead Producer you'll be joining a brand new Timbre development team during our prototyping phase on our first original IP video game project.

  • Partner with recruitment on inclusive and diverse hiring, building a team from the ground up to execute on the projects vision
  • Drive and foster a player experience culture of development while also participating in playtests, giving feedback on the game with an eye for quality
What You Bring
  • Adaptable and empathetic team facilitator and communicator who can motivate and manage across multiple disciplines and partners creating an inclusive team culture for all
