We offer a unique opportunity for a passionate Print Estimator!

The Print Estimator is responsible to assess customer requirements and production capabilities to prepare cost estimates for the company's business. The ideal candidate must have an excellent organizational skills and be very detail-oriented.

Responsibilities:

• Estimating nonstandard work in conjunction with the CEO.
• Researching and recommending cost saving potential to management.
• Analyzing labour, material, and time requirements for a project.
• Preparing estimates for all production jobs based on customer specifications.
• Computer literate and can work with MIS software to produce, analyze and confirm estimates.
• Developing knowledge of inventory position, quantity stocked, usage, and reorder point.
• Addressing customer complaints and concerns, and facilitating a satisfactory resolution.
• Follow up on quotations and projects.
• Effectively presenting and discussing the products and services of the company.
• Developing knowledge of suppliers and competitive prices, and staying up to date on pricing changes.

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of experience in printing industry
• Fluent in English (written and verbal)
• Must have good mathematical skills

Essential Skills and Abilities:

• Knowledgeable of printing processes and supplies and purchasing methods.
• Experience in packaging estimation is an asset.
• Problem solving, critical thinking and logical reasoning
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• Attention to detail/order accuracy
