Laundry Attendant- Revelstoke Mountain Resort Summer 2023

We are currently accepting applications for the position of Laundry Attendant for the summer of 2023 - Staff Accommodation available.

• $20.00 per hour: $18.00 per hour base starting wage plus a $2.00/hr Supplemental Summer Bonus for hours worked between May 20, 2023 - September 24, 2023.

The Laundry Attendant will promote a positive image of the property to guests by ensuring the cleanliness and quality of all linens are maintained to the highest standard. The right candidate will be goal driven, self-motivated, able to work independently and methodically.

Job Duties

• Collecting, transporting, sorting, washing, drying and folding of hotel linens.
• Reports any maintenance and/ or health and safety issues.
• Performs minor sewing duties/repairs as required
• Perform all other duties as assigned or needed.
• Track and report required equipment maintenance
• Maintains an up-to-date knowledge of all chemicals and cleaning products, and the correct handling procedures.
• Inventory control of all linens, cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Distributing and stocking linen closets and supply areas.

Job Qualifications/Requirement

• Able to deal with people tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times
• Good communication skills are an asset
• Professional appearance and good manners
• Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) is an asset
• Ability to follow instruction
• No education or experience required; we offer full training
