Reservation Agent- Revelstoke Mountain Resort Summer 2023

We are currently accepting applications for the position of Reservations Agent for the summer of 2023 - Staff Accommodation available.

This position acts as the very first point of contact between our guests and our hotel experience. The Reservations Agent will play a key role in driving sales, providing impeccable guest service, act as the hotel operator to assist those guests in-house.

Job Duties

• Distributing invoices to our partners.
• Work within and support the Guest Services team as required.
• Answer enquiries regarding hotel services by email, telephone and in person, provide information about services available in the community and respond to guests' complaints.
• Perform all other duties as assigned or needed.
• Present statements of charges to departing guests and receive payment.
• Making and modifying reservations.
• Work closely and professionally with all hotel & resort departments.
• Communicate with guests in a professional manner via telephone and in writing.
• Compile and check daily record sheets, guest accounts, receipts and vouchers using computerized systems.
• Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments.

Requirements

• Able to respond quickly in a dynamic and changing environment.
• Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Experience in customer service
• Ability to analyze and interpret the needs of clients and offer the appropriate options, solutions, and resolutions required.
• Strong working knowledge of hospitality industry principles, methods, practices, and techniques
• High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent
• Exceptional conflict resolution, and objection handling skills
• Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with other departments, key business partners, and guests.
