Job Description

Strategic Account Manager

Reporting to our Strategic Accounts Director, this commercial lead role is responsible for overseeing our most important clients, delivering on initiatives that drive mutual growth in the Americas. You possess extensive experience managing contract production and service relationships with globally recognized brands, bringing passion and curiosity to the role while being creative and relentless. You will continue to deliver on our track record of progress and market expansion by building and strengthening relationships across multiple customer touchpoints and seek out new opportunities through collaborative discovery and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

· Drive growth by becoming the in-house account expert, uncovering customer needs, service, and product strategies through regular contact.

· Communicate to internal stakeholders on commercial KPIs, growth activities, opportunities pipeline and competitive landscape.

· Develop and communicate fact based winning account plans, budget, proposals, and presentations leveraging our unique value proposition.

  • Manage and update customer contracts, forecasts, pricing programs and issue quotes.
  • Collaborating with Category management, Technical and Innovation leads to drive new products or services based on customer insight or market data trends.
  • Work closely with Forecast, Operations, Distribution, Purchasing and Finance teams to deliver a heightened customer experience and establish winning best practices.
  • Conduct routine account reviews to assess customer satisfaction and identify areas for enhancement.

· Participate in regional sales meetings and trade shows representing the company and presenting products and programs based on account needs.

· Promptly address and resolve customer commercial issues, ensuring transparent and efficient communication to all internal and external stakeholders


Qualifications & Experience we are looking for:

  • University degree in a business or technical discipline
  • Experience in thermal management industry and/ or managing transportation related OEM accounts.
  • Minimum 5 years managing strategic or national accounts.
  • Familiarity with private label and branded consumer products

Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Demonstratable business acumen, data analytics and negotiating skills.
  • Highly literate with Microsoft Office products, PBI and CRM tools
  • Able to travel in the USA on a quarterly basis or more frequent basis.
  • Excellent communication, commercial and interpersonal skills
  • Highly motivated and work well in an environment with high autonomy
  • Exceptional presentation skills and ability to influence.
  • Develop and execute strategic, fact-based business plans.
  • Ability to multitask and effectively handle several projects and priorities simultaneously.

· A valid driver’s license and vehicle
