The position is with Agio, a company committed to providing our clients with secure, reliable, and resilient information systems. Our vision requires automating core processes that leverage force-multiplying technologies to enable Agio agents to deliver exceptional service quickly and efficiently. This role is part of an established team supporting automation services using the Azure platform and open-source tools and interacting with API's from other systems in our ecosystem.
As a Junior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for configuring and developing automations, implementing out-of-the-box capabilities and custom solutions that lay the foundation for our vision. You will work closely with the team to ensure the completion of automation stories for implementations associated with product roadmaps. You will also be responsible for contributing to Agio's Automation architecture as we scale and grow as a company.
Additionally, you will be automating the onboarding process for new clients and new services for existing clients and improving customer experience through better UX, streamlined case handling, and automated fulfillment. The team also works on developing and supporting products and APIs supporting our data science initiatives. A few examples of these products include CMDB, Data Warehouse, Data models supporting client sentiment, and chatbot integration with GPT.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with our data science team to support, troubleshoot, and develop API's needed to deploy new data science based products.
• Automate the onboarding process for new clients and the provisioning of new services for existing clients.
• Code, configure, unit test, maintain, and document deliverables using agreed upon standards and tools.
• Participate in supporting existing automations and troubleshooting any failures. There is a potential for some of this work to occur after hours.
• Collaborate with the team in supporting, troubleshooting, and developing new pipelines within our data warehouse.
• Participate in the code review process and provide a constructive environment for discussion.
• Ensure all story requirements are understood, developed, tested, and delivered to specification.
• Collaborate with the team to complete automation stories aligned with product roadmaps. These stories might consist of building new microservice API's to backend automations, working with a published vendor API to capture data, or even working with GPT to process data.

Qualifications:

• Minimum two years of relevant experience in software engineering.
• Experience working with at least one cloud platform, such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Understanding of version control systems, particularly git, and familiarity with DevOps principles.
• Open-minded, receptive, and eager to learn from others' perspectives.
• Strong problem-solving skills, including analyzing problems, proposing innovative solutions, and implementing effective strategies.
• Proficiency in Python and experience with a Python web framework (Django, FastAPI, or Flask).
• Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and prioritize collective goals.
