We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Junior Project Manager/Coordinator. This position offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth and the chance to make a positive impact on the environment through supporting the development of engineered remediation solutions. This position is currently being offered in Calgary, but we are open to candidates in BC, Saskatchewan, and Ontario as we have a remote/ hybrid work environment.

Position Overview:

As a Junior Project Manager/Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the management and coordination of environmental programs. You will work closely with senior project managers to ensure the successful coordination and execution of projects, which includes management of vendors, supply chain, and logistics. Your exceptional organizational and people skills will contribute to the overall success of our projects.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and project coordination.
• Coordinate project activities, including scheduling, vendor management, and task management.
• Conduct research and gather data to support project planning and decision-making.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in environmental management.
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
• Assist senior project managers in planning and executing environmental programs and projects.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, progress updates, and budgets.
• Monitor project timelines and deliverables, ensuring adherence to established schedules.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of environmental regulations and practices.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• 1-3 years of work experience working on environmental programs.
• Technical diploma/ Bachelor's degree in environmental science, natural resources management, or related field.
• Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
