The ideal candidate will have strong creative skills and a portfolio of work which demonstrates their passion for illustrative design and typography. This candidate will have experiences in working with numerous different design platforms such as digital and print forms.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the team to ensure consistency of designs across various media outlets
• Maintain awareness of current industry and technology standards, social media, competitive landscape and market trends
• Edit photos and images
• Create compelling and effective logos, designs, print and digital media
• Create product packaging design with logo elements
• Work closely with vendors/suppliers to verify artwork and proofs for submission and final production
• Submit and review regulatory documents, both domestic and international, for timely regulatory approval
• Perform other duties as assigned and required.
• Work closely with the regulatory department to coordinate product labelling
• Create medical illustrations for training documents
• Create designs for company brands and programs
• Oversee the creative development of the company's marketing and promotional materials to ensure brand and graphical consistency
• Collaborate with marketing department and purchasing department ensuring timelines are met

Qualifications

• Confident and comfortable using both Mac and PC
• Experience in photography, HTML, CSS, animation, video editing, or any 3D software is considered an asset
• Experience with print and packaging design
• Post-secondary degree/diploma related to graphic design
• Strong communication, conceptual thinking, typography skills and design skills
• Proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud (Lightroom, Illustrator, Photoshop, IndeSign, Acrobat, etc.)
• High attention to detail and performs well under tight deadlines
• Experience in the medical device industry collaborating with regulatory teams
