Our client in Newmarket is looking for a Project Manager AMI
Role
As a project manager, you will guide large-scale technology projects with end-to-end services. Projects will vary in size from simple projects with a single deliverable to complex projects with a large team and multiple deliverables. You will be a strong leader, responsible for optimizing high-performing technical teams.

Requirements

• MS Project and MS Office
• Manage internal project resources, assign roles, and delegate responsibilities.
• Excellent experience managing client and vendor relationships.
• 5+ years' experience in a project management role managing large-scale technology projects
• Develop document deliverables, presentations, procurement documents, and consulting reports.
• Develop and maintain project plans, project budgets, and financials
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Manage change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of impacts on schedule and budgets.
• Create and maintain risk and issue logs.
• Leadership and problem-solving skills, time management, and organizations skills
• Experience with risk management and stakeholder management

Knowledge

• IT principles including lifecycle planning, estimating, and architecture
• Understanding of large infrastructures and Big data
• Experience with implementation of software, enterprise applications, understanding of SDLC
• Resource planning and managing resources
• Project management best practices and standards, procurement lifecycle, and project metrics
• Experience with system integration activities including; business process development, system integration, and software testing
• Excellent Vendor Management skills
• Knowledge of advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) and Utility experience is an asset or Telecom industry background

Certifications

• PMP certification is an asset
• Undergraduate degree/diploma
