Infrastructure Project Manager (Cybersecurity) - Edmonton, Ab

OnX Canada is looking to engage an Infrastructure Project Manager with some Cybersecurity knowledge for infrastructure modernization program of our Edmonton-based client.

Duration: 6 month contract to start, with the likelihood of extension to next 6 months and beyond

Location: Edmonton, Alberta (hybrid) - must be local to Edmonton or surrounding area

Hours/week: 40

Start: June 2023

Requirements:

• Ability to follow up on tasks and ensure delivery
• Estimating time and effort for tasks
• Handling managed services for implementations
• 5 (five) years’ experience in IT infrastructure and as an interim PM.
• Ability to test and verify deliverables
• Handling and manage suppliers and vendors
• Defining a tasks deliverables and millstones
• Handling mass deployments for hardware/software projects
• Practical PM experience in Cybersecurity audit remediation with implementing solutions to address audit findings - ideal

Responsibilities:

• Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
• Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
• Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
• Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
• Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
• Ensure resource availability and allocation
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
• Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
• Report and escalate to management as needed
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks
