We are currently looking for an IT Project Manager for one of our clients in the insurance industry.

- 06-month contract with strong potential for permanent employment.
- Hourly salary of $122.68-$146.10 (based on experience).
- Opportunity to work in a dynamic and professional environment.
- Full-time (37.50 hours per week) – 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

- Manage the entire project lifecycle from project definition/scope to implementation.
- Develop a comprehensive project plan and ensure adherence to project milestones.
- Oversee the development and implementation of communication plans, training programs, and documentation.
- Identify, coordinate, and manage resources and key stakeholders for the project.
- Utilize project management methodologies and tools, such as Microsoft Project.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and within scope.
- Facilitate effective change management processes throughout the project.
- Regularly communicate project status updates to all stakeholders throughout the projects lifecycle.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Defining, documenting and completing complex, high impact projects with a great number of interdependencies.
- Proactively identifying, assessing, and managing risks that impede successful project delivery.
- Proficient in project planning, judgment, leadership, decision-making, analysis, and problem-solving
- Can lead medium to large sized groups where required.
- Able to achieve all tasks using own judgement but does not hesitate to escalate as required when roadblocks outside of span of control arise.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation abilities.
- Articulating clear plans with milestones; holding people accountable to action plans.
- 10+ years of project / program management experience, including:
- Tenacious in a professional, polite manner.
- Ensuring effective change management occurs throughout the course of the project.
- Communicating clearly to all stakeholders involved; ability to tailor communications depending on target audience (Executive vs. working team; technical vs. business, etc.).
- Demonstrated ability to work in a complex matrix environment to drive alignment and achieve objectives.
- Expertise in using Microsoft Office (Project, Excel, MS Word, and Visio).
- Actively prioritizing work to ensure objectives are met.
- Foresees problems instead of solving them, recognizes the needs for flexibility and diverse solutions.
- Ability to understand context - understands the overall picture in most situations.
- Privacy and Compliance experience within Financial Institutions an asset.
- Utilize project management methodologies and tools, such as Microsoft Project.
